El Saltillo in Canillas del Aceituno
Nicknamed the "Caminito del Rey of Axarquía," the trail runs alongside an irrigation channel and crosses the gorge of the Almanchares River, where the famous hanging bridge, one of the three largest in Spain, is located. El Saltillo can be done in different ways, allowing you to vary the route based on the difficulty you seek and the time you have.
For most of El Saltillo trail, you will be accompanied by a water channel or hose zigzagging along the path, transporting water to the village. Be careful not to stumble, litter, or damage the hose or obstruct the channels.

Bodegas Almijara in Cómpeta
History
Founded in 1993, Bodegas Almijara produces the renowned Jarel wine. The winery, with roots in the 19th century as the resin factory "La Resinera," received the Denominations of Origin Málaga and Sierras de Málaga in 2000. Its logo, a ship, symbolizes the export of wines to England, the Netherlands, and America.
Jarel wine was served at the wedding of the current King and Queen of Spain.
Location
Located at an altitude of 636 meters in the Sierras Almijara and Tejeda, the winery benefits from the Mediterranean climate to cultivate Moscatel de Alejandría grapes. From Cómpeta, head towards Canillas de Albaida and take the exit 1 km to the left.

Jarel Seco Afrutado: Produced in Cómpeta, Málaga, Jarel Seco y Afrutado is a pale straw-colored wine made from Moscatel grapes. It features citrus and floral aromas with a fresh, mineral taste, perfect for pairing with fish and seafood.
Nerja Cave
The cave is a testament to human occupation dating back around 30,000 years, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Neolithic. In its archaeological layers, cave paintings and a wide variety of artifacts have been discovered, shedding light on the lives of people who inhabited this cave in prehistoric times.
After its accidental discovery, authorities in Malaga became aware of the scientific and monumental importance of the cave. Explorations were conducted to find a more accessible entrance than the Mina Shaft, and a new entrance was eventually discovered 80 meters underground. In 1960, after adaptation works, the cave was opened to the public.

The cave is known for its unique geological combination of marine erosion and upward movement of the chamber due to underground forces, forming underwater galleries that were later emptied of water.
